Tyson Library Borrower’s Card Policy

 

Materials in the Tyson Library may be borrowed by anyone with a valid Tyson Library borrower’s card.

 

Obtaining a Tyson Library Borrower’s Card

 

Anyone may register to obtain a Tyson Library borrower’s card.  Registration requires a photo ID (or parent’s signature in the case of children through the age of 15), the registrant’s name, address, and telephone number.  Parents must be present to sign for a child’s card.

 

The following fees apply for obtaining a borrower’s card:

 

• Children (thru the age of 15) – free
• Adults (age 16 thru the age of 61)   -  $2.00
• Adults (age 62 and older) – free

 

Valid Time Period and Renewal of Borrower’s Card

 

Adult borrower’s cards are valid for 1-year.  There is an annual $2.00 renewal fee.

 

Children’s cards are valid until the child’s 16^th birthday.

 

 

Replacement of Lost or Damaged Borrower’s Card

 

There is a $2.00 fee for issuance of a replacement borrower’s card, both adult and children.
