Computer Basics

This class is in two 2-hour sessions. The class is intended for those who have no knowledge of, or are just beginning to use, a personal computer. The class will introduce you to the key parts of a computer and the key steps to getting started, including an introduction to Microsoft Windows. The registration fee covers materials; no other textbook required.

This class is in one 2-hour session.  The class is intended for those who have little or no experience using e-mail.  Basics of e-mail will be explained along with various alternative e-mail systems.  A free Yahoo e-mail account will be established for practice and permanent use, if desired. This class is in one 2-hour session. The class is intended for those who have had no, or very little, experience with Microsoft Word. The class introduces word processing, including how to create and work with a letter/document, and some of the commonly used text features.
